Seafood has always been one of man's favorite sources of nutrition, with many cultures becoming heavily dependent on fish in particular. The people of the Cayman Islands have a strong maritime culture, in which fish has been a staple food. Local catches of Wahoo, Tuna, Snapper and Dolphin fish (mahi) have provided fish lovers with a regular supply. However, because of the increasing demand worldwide, many popular species have been overexploited. Thank you for supporting Compass Point's Sustainable Seafood program.
